When you are on Roatan for only a day, you don't want any hitches or unexpected delays. Our excursion packages provide roundtrip dock transportation. The drivers are reliable, punctual, and speak English. The vehicules are well maintained and air-conditioned, and can accommodate your whole group.

Saddle and Swim West End

In this time of financial crisis, the biggest bang for your buck is the "Saddle and Swim West End" option. This gives you roundtrip transportation from the cruise ship dock to the ranch and back again. After your ride, you will have time to visit the funky town of West End. Browse the souvenir shops; swim or snorkel in Half Moon Bay; sunbathe or relax with a tropical drink from a bar on the beach; eat a snack from a street vendor, or dine in one of West End's many restaurants. Arrange with your driver the time that you suits you best for your return to the cruise ship.

Some members of your group may not want to horseback ride - that's OK; the driver can pick them up at the same time as you and bring them directly to the beach, where you can meet up with them after your tour.

Price: please add US$20 per person to the cost of the horseback tour. Children under 5 years old travel for free. Rate for 5 people or more docking at the pier in Coxen Hole only: US$15 each.

Saddle and Swim West Bay

In this package, we team up with Foster's Hotel and Restaurant on the beach in beautiful West Bay. Considered to be the most beautiful beach on Roatan, West Bay is the perfect place to relax after your ride. Swim in the crystal water, or sunbathe on the white sand; sip a drink or dine in the restaurant; browse the souvenirs shops or partake in any of the many water sports West Bay has to offer - snorkeling, jet skis, sea kayaking, parasailing, scuba...

Foster's will pick you up at the dock, and drive you to our ranch in time for your ride. After the tour, your driver will bring to West Bay. On the way, your driver can make photo stops along the scenic road with panoramic views of the ocean. When you arrive at Foster's, you will be welcomed with a free drink. You will also be entitled to the use of the changing rooms and, of course, the ocean. Arrange with your driver the time that you suits you best for your return to the cruise ship.

Some members of your group may not want to horseback ride - that's OK; Foster's can pick them up at the same time as you and bring them directly to the beach, where you can meet up with them after your tour.

Price: please add US$25 per person to the cost of the horseback tour. Children aged 9 and under: US$10 each. Rate for 5 people or more docking at the pier in Coxen Hole only: US$20 each.

Saddle and Sail

Sail with Captain Dusty of Salty Dog Sea Charters before your horseback riding tour. Leaving out of West End, the "First Light", a 37 ft. modern, fully safety equipped sailboat provides you with a relaxed and intimate sailing experience, as the tour is limited to 10 persons. This excursion provides an opportunity for cruise ship visitors to encounter the very best of Caribbean trade winds sailing and viewing the beauty of the south-western tip of the island. Palm trees, white sand, turquoise water, ironshore, and the gorgeous homes of West Bay are some of the things you will see. Both captain and crew have extensive experience. Flotation vests are provided, as is bottled water; beer and soft drinks are available onboard. The boat tour lasts about 2 hours.

The driver will pick you up at the dock, and drive you to Sueno del Mar in West End, where the sailboat will be waiting for you. After the tour, your driver will bring you to the ranch for the horseback riding, and take you back to the cruise ship in time for your departure.

Some members of your group may not want to horseback ride - that's OK; the driver can bring them to Half Moon Bay after the sailing, where they can swim, snorkel, sunbathe, relax with a tropical drink, eat or shop for souvenirs until it is time to return to the ship.

There is no minimum for the horseback riding, but the boat requires a minimum of 4 people, and can take a maximum of 10. If you are interested in sailing, but do not have enough people, please contact us anyway, and we may be able to add you to another group.
